First Opportunities There is a new look and feel at First Christian Church. We have moved into our new building with ministry and fellowship opportunities in full swing. Keep reading for a brief explanation about about some of the excitment going on at First Christian Church. · In addition to our 10:45 AM traditional worship service on Sunday mornings, we also offer a “casual” worship service at 8:30 AM. · At 9:30 AM each Sunday morning, there are Sunday school classes for all ages. At First Christian Church, we utilize the Faith Weaver curriculum for all ages. The Faith Weaver classes study the same scripture each week at their appropriate age levels. This allows for families to continue the conversation with one another throughout the week. In addition, we have a second adult class which relates current news stories to scripture in a positive and uplifting way. · Each Wednesday night at 6:00 PM we gather for Wired Wednesday. The evening begins with a meal, followed by an evening of adult Bible classes, youth groups, children’s classes, and choir practice. Yes, there is something for everyone on Wednesday nights at First Christian Church. We hope you will take the opportunity to check out first hand what is going on at First Christian Church. *Please note that a fully staffed nursery is available to families with infants and toddlers.
