About Us
Principles for Our Common Life – This is a list of statements about how this congregation intends to live out our expressed identity of “Sharing God’s Word and Living God’s Love.” These Principles were developed as a group effort by our congregation’s leaders, and they were adopted by our congregation with a unanimous vote.
Staff – We recognize all who pledge themselves in service to Christ as ministers of the gospel, and we lift up our Pastors and staff who all serve Christ with a glad heart.
Congregational History – This congregation has been blessed with times of joy as well as real challenges over the many years of service, since 1954. We are part of the denomination, the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
This denomination grew out of the Restoration Movement, here in the United States, which formed to restore Christian unity. Every congregation in our denomination is self-governing, with opportunities to seek assistance from or join in outreach work lead by our regional office or the general ministries of the Disciples of Christ.
